Pros and cons of Fatehaven app for iPhone and iPad

Fatehaven app good for

Just a fascinating choose your own story. What choices you make that dont have an impact on the outcome do have an impact on how your character acts and thinks, which is a big plus in terms of immersion, and the ending is great.
This game isnt perfect, but I enjoyed it the most out of any in this genre because the choices seemed more reasonable to what I would actually choose. Worth it.
It was an amazing story to be a part of! Really hope for another chapter
Funny, exciting and so hard to put down. I will definitely be replaying the story to see how the ending changes.
Very engaging story and interesting options. The stats are a cool thing to have too. One thing to add... A game!!!! Other than that its an amazing buy.
Fatehaven is a fun and engaging read with a clever take on the interactive fiction format. Highly recommended.

Some bad moments

This story isnt bad, it has its flaws, but the characters and the choices themselves are appealing. There are two major flaws though: 1: The story needlessly references modern culture and modern games at times, ruining the immersion into the medieval fantasy. 2: The story is in dire need of some editing. It switches from an implied silent protagonist to one will bolded lines often, and scenes with magic often leave you not knowing what is even happening. If you can put up with writing that maybe isnt the best, the story is rather nice though. Be prepared to play a magician, your love interests are the magi daughter of an evil lich, a childhood friend who aspires to be a paladin, and a cat girl thief(probably opposite genders if you like guys) and well.... Theyre not bad. Give it a shot if I havent already turned you off.
Incredibly fun game and one of the more entertaining games to come out of CoG. Each scene is written in a way that is descriptive and colorful, making it easy for the reader to visualize in their head. Even more so, each scene seems like a scenario straight out of an anime making everything that much familiar. That said, as anyone that watch enough mainstream anime will be able to identify, there is going to be sexual innuendos involved. A lot. Romantic options are going to be sexualized. That could be a deal breaker for some people. I dont know. If youre into JRPGs or anime, give this game a try. Totally worth the money. If not so. I would actually still recommend it. One of the few multiple-choice games that shines light on NPCs and not just player choices.
I enjoyed the storyline itself, but there were a few issues, one of which was with the writing. It was often difficult to tell if your character was just thinking or if she was speaking out loud because quotation marks were misplaced or left out entirely. Some of the scenes were also very confusing, with logic jumps that aren’t explained to the player or certain actions that occur that just do NOT make sense in the scene. Also, the endings of the story just seem a bit… Out of place. There was all this build up, a twist, and then there’s this sort of half resolution. It just didn’t feel satisfying in any way. Also, for a choose your on adventure game there weren’t a lot of paths to go down.
I love the premise of the story. I did not see that Plot twist from a mile away. The writing is truly wonderful, and clever. This is my favorite choiceofgames app so far
I dont usually write reviews, however I felt the need to with this choice game, besides a few grammatical errors the game is awesome.
I loved the story and characters, but the writing was a bit confusing. The game was unclear when the character was talking. That really confused me, but I still loved the game.
